When everything goes wrong...

Every human has good and bad periods in life... Slack period is that time when he is most vulnerable, when things aren't just working out for him, people are misunderstanding him left, right and center. Slack period is that period when despite having the capabilty and the fire, he cannot do anything. Slack period is that period when man is most desperate. Slack period does not last for a day, for an hour... Slack period is time when from every front things go wrong. I believe everyone of us would have gone through such a period some day or the other in our lives. It's impossible that no person has not yet gone through such a period. And if you havn't yet... get ready dude... During your slack period, destiny takes away what ever is most precious to you... money, a person, respect, ego, knowledge, social status... name it and if it is dear - its gone.

Example: For all those cricket fanatics and who are following Indian Cricket.. Saurav Ganguly is going through a slack period. Everyone is against the greatest Indian captain of all time. Look at Sachin Tendular or Virendar Sehwag for that matter... Both have been consistently failing.. yet they are in the team. I believe they too deserve to be thrown out if Ganguly was thrown out only on basis of form. Ganguly is going through a slack period.

Remember Murphy's law - If something has to go wrong - IT WILL!! Murphy explains it by the example - When you are late, the toast will surely fall on the side where butter has been applied. SLACK PERIOD is that period when Murphy's law operates with your life from all sides.

Everyone here would always pray.. that they should never go through a slack period... But I'll wish for the opposite...

Today, I will talk about the positive aspects of this period of great negativity:

1) Social Front
When you go through a slack period, all those people who support you and stand by you are the true relatives, family and friends. All those people who run away and shy away in your trouble times are NOT your true people. They have been with you all these years to take your happiness and your goodness. When the time came to give... they might ran away saying - It's not my responsibility. Then THEY are not YOURS.. They are part of external society. Slack period is very important in each persons life... because they help you out in identifying your people. People who support you unconditionally are your true people. People who keep their happiness and wants temporarily aside and stand beside you supporting and helping you out happily are the real friends you can have.

2) Personal Front
When a slack period comes, life challenges your capabilities. Life challenges you physically, emotionally and mentally. Physically because you need to be fit enough to give your 200% to the cause. Mentally because your intellect and psyche would have to concentrate and focus on the cause not getting distracted here and there. Emotionally because you would have to do the above under extreme stress. The best part of operating in a slack period is that you can raise your concentration and mental power and emotional strength to levels that you would have never thought you can achieve. It is test of character and strength. You need to be strong and back yourself. You need to look within yourself and find your strength!

3) Overall
A slack period is a test of time that each person has to face in his life. The best part of a slack period is struggling it out with your loved ones (because if there is someone standing beside you... then that person truly is trust-worthy)... the best part of a slack period is coming out of it successful and alive because once you would have been out of it - you will be stronger, smarter and better than before.

Conclusion
Thus, all I have to say - Face as much of hardships and slack periods as possible because every problem and slack period that you will face and when you will come out of it... You will be not only immune to that problem but also stronger.

My slack periods have taught me a LOT.. What about yours?

Slacks are like soft beds. They’re easy to get into and hard to get out of.
